On 1 Jul 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a citation to Jami L. Thrasher, age 40, 6585 Veto Road, Belpre, for traveling 64 mph in a 50 mph zone. Sgt. Hornbeck stopped Ms. Thrasher on US 50 near Farson Street in Belpre Township.

On 1 Jul 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a citation to Brooke M. Ward, age 38, 1204 Hocking Road, Belpre, for traveling 67 mph in a 55 mph zone. Sgt. Hornbeck stopped Ms. Ward on State Route 339 near milepost six in Barlow Township.

On 1 Jul 11 Norman Nichols Jr., age 36, 10490 Veto Road, Belpre, reported at some point between 29 Jun and 1 Jul an unknown suspect(s) stole a semi-truck wiring harness, miscellaneous copper wire and four batteries from his yard. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 1 Jul 11 Deputy Sheriff Simmons requested summonses for Erin M. Gandee, age 27, and Theresa M. Buffington, both of 209 Fifth Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct by fighting. The two women were involved in argument on 28 Jun that evolved into a physical altercation after Ms. Gandee’s five year old son struck Ms. Buffington’s young child with an object. Ms. Gandee did not witness the incident but Ms. Buffington dragged the five year old into Ms. Gandee’s room and demanded she discipline him. Each party blamed the other for initiating the scuffle that followed.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Matthew Thomas Troup, age 20, 27 Franklin Drive, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Troup was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 11 at 9:40 am.

Albert Clark Darr, age 31, 3068 21st Street, Cleveland, for failure to reinstate his operator’s license, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding, contempt of a court order and breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors. Darr was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 11 at 2:35 pm.

Donald William Kinney, age 25, 704 Elm Street, Belpre, for forgery and for two counts of theft, all felonies. Kinney was arrested turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Jul 11 at 8:53 am.

Dallas Willey Farnsworth, age 37, Marietta, for possession of criminal tools and for contempt for failing to pay fines, both misdemeanors. Farnsworth was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 11 at 4:20 pm.

Emily Jo Welch, age 35, 728 Third Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Welch was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 11 at 9:05 pm.

Mark Allen Burke, age 57, 101A Muskingum Terrace, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Burke was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Reeder and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Jul 11 at 7:52 pm.
