On 15 Jun 11 the manager of Dollar General,
10270 State Route 550, Barlow, reported a customer placed six
packages of diapers in his cart from an outside display and
entered the store to pay for a toy. The customer then exited
the store, loaded the cart of diapers into his vehicle and drove
away. This case remains under investigation (707).
On 15 Jun 11 an employee at the Frontier School
District bus garage at 44870 State Route 7, New Matamoras, reported
sometime between 10 Jun an 15 Jun an unknown suspect(s) removed
fifty batteries from buses at that location. The estimated value
of the batteries is $5,000. This case remains under investigation
On 15 Jun 11 Austin M. Moore, age 20, 3977
State Route 555, Little Hocking, was traveling eastbound on
Twin Bridge Road when he failed to stop at the intersection
of State Route 555. Mr. Moore then crashed his Ford F-150 into
an embankment on the east side of State Route 555. Possibly
suffering a broken leg and incurring a head injury, Mr. Moore
was transported to Camden Clark Hospital by the Little Hocking
Fire Department. Mr. Moore’s vehicle sustained heavy damage.
As a result of the collision, Deputy Sheriff Holbert issued
Mr. Moore a citation for failure to control.
On 15 Jun 11 Paulette Hadley, age 39, 515 Martin
Road, Reno, reported she believes a distant relative stole three
gold rings while she briefly visited her residence on 25 May
11. This case remains under investigation (805).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Glenn Roger Johnson Jr., age 24, 116 Harmar
Street, Marietta, for theft, resisting arrest, failure to appear,
breach of recognizance, disorderly conduct by intoxication and
two counts of obstructing official business, all misdemeanors.
Johnson was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 15 Jun 11 at 2:12 am.
Jerry Andre Miller, age 22, 2339 Rhoads Avenue,
Columbus, for driving under a suspended license and for failure
to obey a traffic control device, both misdemeanors. Miller
was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 11 at
Brittany Maria Martin, age 25, 819 33rd Street,
Parkersburg, for distribution of a dangerous drug, a misdemeanor.
Martin was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman
Gragan of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 15 Jun 11 at 4:13 pm.
