On 13 Jun 11 Tamela K. Dyar, age 40, 1237 Cider Mill Road, Lowell, reported she was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband Michael, age 41. Mrs. Dyar said her husband cornered her in their bedroom and initiated an argument. During the argument Mrs. Dyar said her husband raised his fist as if he was going to strike her. Mrs. Dyar stated her husband threatened her multiple times during the past few days and the incident caused her to fear for her safety. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested Mr. Dyar for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 13 Jun 11 Deputy Sheriffs Mankins and Simmons responded to a reported ruckus roiling at 27335 State Route 7 Lot 34, Marietta. Witnesses at the scene informed the Deputies the purported perpetrator purposely punched one victim and swung a crock jug at two other victims as he attempted to force them out of the home. The trailer’s owner said he resides at the residence with her boyfriend, Scott Shankland, age 41, but they have been quarreling for two weeks so she temporarily rented a room to a male friend, Aaron Farnsworth, age 32, 500 34th Street, Vienna, so she would feel safe. Informed of his girlfriend’s decision, Mr. Shankland grew irate and started yelling for his girlfriend, Mr. Farnsworth and two other male subjects to get out of the trailer. It was at then that Mr. Shankland retrieved the crock, swung it about his head and chased the two males from the home. As he was doing so, Mr. Shankland pushed Mr. Farnsworth out the door and at some point punched him in the face. Questioned about the incident, Mr. Shankland admitted pushing everyone out the door of the residence but did not mention assaulting Mr. Farnsworth or swinging the jug.
