On 16 May 11 Rick Steele, age 52, 47373 State Route 7, New Matamoras, reported sometime during the past month an unknown suspect(s) entered a home and storage building on property he owns at 800 Sheets Run Drive, New Matamoras. Mr. Steele said a metal cabinet, an inoperable refrigerator and a kerosene heater were stolen from inside the two structures and an eighteen foot john boat was stolen from another location on the property. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 16 May 11 Lois Young, age 57, 105 Electra Avenue, Marietta, reported she was away from her residence for approximately two hours that afternoon and at some point during that timeframe an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered her home and stole a bottle of her prescription medication. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 16 May an employee of Huck’s Pallets, 3810 Tick Ridge Road, Vincent, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) ransacked the interiors of four of the business’ trucks, entered the office and stole a laptop computer and a small safe. The employee said the suspect(s) also cut the padlock off the business’ gas tank and stole between twenty and thirty gallons of gasoline. This case remains under investigation (296).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Serena F. Biehl, age 34, 311 Chestnut Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $376.74.

Dana B. Curry, age 39, 1025 Rocky Road, Johnstown, PA, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $396.50.

Michael R. Lucas, age 42, State Route 83, Beverly, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $375.70.

Chase L. Simmons, age 25, 1204H County House Lane, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $419.25.

William T. Klintworth, age 47, 1876 Pine Ridge Road, Fleming, for violating the terms of his probation by testing positive for alcohol on eight occasions and for failing to appear for a scheduled appointment.

Jesse L. Stephenson, age 20, 8483 Steinmeyer Road, New Marshfield, OH, for vehicular manslaughter on 6 Aug 09.

Bryan Vandine, age 34, 717 McGill Road, Vincent for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor on 20 Mar 11.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Mark Allen Ashbrook, age 30, 13499 Cable Road SW, Pataskala, OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Ashbrook was picked up at SEPTA by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 May 11 at 11:41 am.

Roy James Campbell III, age 24, 830 Ridge Street, Marietta, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony. Campbell was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 May 11 at 12:46 pm.

Betty Ruth Simpson, age 58, 122 Alta Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Simpson was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 May 11 at 2:33 pm.

Matthew Robert Moyers, age 34, 242 Pennsylvania Avenue Apt. 8, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Moyers was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 May 11 at 8:35 pm.
