On 10 May 11 James Williams, age 38, 2070 Upper Fifteenmile Creek Road, Wingett Run, reported sometime between 5 May and 9 May an unknown suspect(s) stole a four horsepower engine from a well site he owns near milepost four on Zion Ridge Road in Lawrence Township. This case remains under investigation (805).

On 10 May 11 John Layman, age 50, 177 Stanleyville Road, Whipple, reported he believes a neighbor discharged a firearm in the direction of his property and possibly injured some of his livestock. Mr. Layman stated his neighbor sites his gun by firing at tree stumps near a private road that separates their properties and he fears for the safety of his family. Questioned about the incident, the neighbor said he was given lifetime hunting rights when he sold Mr. Layman the neighboring property and he believes that he has the right to discharge his firearms in the manner he pleases. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 10 May 11 an employee of McLaughlin Motors, 3870 State Route 339, Belpre, reported at some point between 4 pm on May 7 and 7 am on 9 May an unknown suspect(s) cut the catalytic converter off a 2001 Toyota truck that was parked in the front row of the car lot. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 10 May 11 Delbert Bennett, age 69, Turkey Knob Road, Newport, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered his workshop at 46050 State Route 7, New Matamoras. Mr. Bennett said the suspect(s) stole seven extension cords, two radiators, a saw, a dolly and two wire cutters. This case remains under investigation (805).

The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ronald Gene Woodrum, age 46, 1378 Gilman Avenue Lot 28, Marietta, for inducing panic, a felony. Woodrum was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 May 11 at 5:17 pm.
