On 1 May 11 an employee of the 50-A Carryout, 15918 State Route 550, Fleming, reported the driver of a gold Toyota sedan drove off without paying for $61.21 in gasoline. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 1 May 11 William Huguley, age 29, 519 Ullman Street, Beverly, reported his Jeep was stolen from Heiss Hollow while he was at that location watching a local band perform. The vehicle was located in a ditch along Rainbow Road less than a mile away and did not appear to have been in a collision. Mr. Huguley was content that his vehicle was returned and did not desire to pursue the matter further (1104).

On 1 May 11 an employee of Washington Farms reported sometime between 27 Apr and 29 Apr approximately fifty ten foot well casings were stolen from a site located at 1500 Stanleyville Narrows Road, Marietta. The approximate loss due to the theft is $4,000. This case remains under investigation (805).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Deana Allen Beck Jr., age 31, 734 Lancaster Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Beck was arrested on State Route 7 by Sgt. Norman of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 May 11 at 12:54 am.

Nichole Leigh Brode, age 36, 415 Henderson Avenue, Williamstown, for .08 breath OVI and for failure to yield, both misdemeanors. Brode was arrested on Greene Street by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 May 11 at 3:44 am.

Kenneth Eugene Shinn, age 50, 6787 Ellis Road, Stockport, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, a felony. Shinn was arrested by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 May 11 at 9:57 pm.
