On 24 Apr 11 the manager of Washington Motel, 87 Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported sometime between 5 pm on 23 Apr and 2 am on 24 Apr an unknown suspect(s) attempted to forcibly enter the motel manager’s office. The suspect(s) attempted to pry open the door, repeatedly kicked it and broke a window in unsuccessful attempts to enter the office. No property appears missing. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 24 Apr 11 Ryan M. Marshal, age 29, 575 Perilous Place, Galloway, OH, reported he parked his vehicle at his parents’ residence at 81 Saint Andrews Boulevard, Belpre, at 9:30 the previous evening and the next morning he discovered his glasses lying on the driveway near his car. Mr. Marshal said the vehicle was unlocked and a radar detector and loose change were stolen. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 24 Apr 11 Larry Hamilton, age 68, 30632 Lebanon Road, Lower Salem, reported he discovered an overturned SUV and what appear to be three bullet holes on an oil tank at his farm at the intersection of Fifteenmile Creek and Roberts Run roads in Liberty Township. The vehicle apparently rolled while doing donuts in the area and was abandoned by the driver. It is unclear if the damage to the oil tank and the vehicle rollover are related. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 24 Apr 11 Deputy Sheriff Simmons responded to the scene of death of a seventy-three year old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes; no foul play is suspected.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michael Shawn Williams, age 34, 3635 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, OVI, driving under an FRA suspended license and for failure to yield, all misdemeanors. Williams was arrested on Second Street in by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 11 at 5:40 am.

Kelley Ray Adkins, age 38, 5265 Strode Lane, Chesterhill, for trafficking in drugs and for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, both felonies. Adkins was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Day and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 11 at 9:30 am.

Hank Harmon Holloway, age 56, 5265 Strode Lane, Chesterhill, for trafficking in drugs and for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, both felonies. Holloway was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Day and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 11 at 9:30 am.

Nicole Yvonne Harvey, age 20, 260 Main Street, McConnelsville, for trafficking in drugs and for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, both felonies. Harvey was picked up in Morgan County by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 11 at 2:30 pm.

Marsha Ann Holloway, age 43, 5265 Strode Lane, Chesterhill, for trafficking in drugs and for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, both felonies. Holloway was picked up in Morgan County by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr 11 at 2:30 pm.

Bradly Russell Seery, age 30, 2425 Baird Avenue, Paris, OH, for driving under a suspended license and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Seery was arrested on Interstate 77 and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Apr at 6:04 pm.
