Archive of 04-07-11

On 7 Apr 11 Jessica Beaver, age 28, HC 69 BOX 6, Friendly, WV, reported she was visiting friends at 1222 Williamson Avenue, New Matamoras, when she was assaulted by Tammie Slonaker, age 36, 60 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras. Ms. Beaver was on the porch of the residence when she said Ms. Slonaker drove by, stopped her vehicle and began shouting at her. Exiting her vehicle, Ms. Slonaker charged at Ms. Beaver, struck her in the head and knocked her to the ground. Ms. Beaver said she remembers hitting her head on the concrete but could not recall anything for a short time thereafter. Viewing Ms. Beaver’s injuries, Deputy Sheriff Schubert requested a warrant for Ms. Slonaker for assault.

On 7 Apr 11 Deputy Sheriff Schubert arrested Amanda E. Parrish, age 18, 115 Main Street, Coolville, for underage consumption of alcohol. A passenger in a vehicle stopped for traveling left of center, Ms. Parrish slurred her speech and had red, watery eyes. Ms. Parrish had difficulty maintaining her balance and became uncooperative when Deputy Schubert began handcuffing her. En route to the jail Ms. Parrish unleashed a barrage of obscenities and struck her head on the cruiser’s safety partition several times. Approximately two and a quarter hours after being booked into the jail Ms. Parrish’s BAC was .122.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Amanda Elizabeth Parrish, age 18, 115 Main Street, Coolville, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Parrish was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Schubert and processed into the Washington County Jail 7 Apr 11 at 3:45 am.

Meriah Shay Dunn, age 20, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 3A, New Matamoras, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Dunn was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail 7 Apr 11 at 10:00 am.

Jerome Edward Cox Jr., age 25, 1240 Lakewood Street, Pittsburgh, PA, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Cox was apprehended by a bail bondman in Pittsburgh and processed into the Washington County Jail 7 Apr 11 at 7:28 pm.
