Archive of 04-04-11

On 4 Apr 11 a motorist reported finding various amounts of trash scattered along the roadway near the intersection of Briggs Hill Road and Veto Road. A potential suspect whose name appeared on items among the rubbish denied disposing of the trash along the road but offered to clean the area. The owner of the property declined to pursue charges in the matter (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Cody Lee Parker, age 22, 114 Grove Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Parker was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 11 at 10:25 am.

Daren Earl Moore, age 31, 165 Pam Road, New Matamoras, for burglary and theft, both felonies. Moore turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 11 at 11:30 am.

Matthew Lee Coleman, age 44, 293 Brehl Avenue, Columbus, for theft, a felony. Coleman turned himself in to Major Coppernoll at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 11 at 3:10 pm.

Charles Franklin West, age 50, 627 Front Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. West was arrested on Front Street by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Apr 11 at 3:10 pm.
