On 28 Mar 11 Rebecca Minder, age 44, 1285 State Route 260, New Matamoras, reported sometime between 22 Mar and 26 Mar an unknown suspect(s) stole a hay baler spear that was parked on her property along State Route 260. The implement is four feet long, rusty with some red paint and attaches to a tractor using a three point hitch. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 28 Mar 11 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart requested summonses for Charles Tullius, age 34, 359 Barrett South Road, Vincent, and his wife Joanna, age 31, for child endangerment. Deputy Lockhart responded to the Tullius residence on 10 Mar after receiving information that their fourteen year old son was left care for his eleven year old, three year old and four month old siblings. Contacted at the bar where they were imbibing libations, Mr. and Mrs. Tullius returned the home. Both parents admitted leaving their children at the home because they never get the chance to go out.

On 28 Mar 11 Sgt. Thorpe and Deputy Sheriff Holbert responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on School House Road in Little Hocking. Prior to being transported to the hospital for treatment to her injuries, the seventeen year old victim stated that an argument with the father of her child evolved into a physical confrontation. The victim said Brody D. Parrish, age 19, 14 Bretz Road, Little Hocking, threw her into a kitchen table, grabbed her by the throat and threw her into a wall. The impact left three indentions in the wall and resulted in the victim suffering a minor spinal sprain, slight bruising and minor head trauma. Questioned about the incident, Mr. Parrish admitted being involved in shoving match with the victim but minimized his role in the assault. Based on his investigation, Deputy Holbert arrested Mr. Parrish for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail. The victim was treated and released from Camden Clark Hospital.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Mitchell Edward Bailey, age 21, 15725 Waterford Road, Waterford, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a felony. Bailey was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 9:01 am.

Roy James Campbell III, age 24, 830 Ridge Street, Marietta, for breach of recognizance, failure to appear, driving under a suspended license and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Campbell was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 9:28 am.

Jeremy Michael Charlton, age 30, 1681 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for a felony charge of theft and for misdemeanor charges of assault, aggravated trespassing, falsification, failure to appear and contempt for failing to pay fines. Charlton was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Tornes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 11:15 am.

Brody David Parrish, age 19, 14 Bretz Road, Little Hocking, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Parrish was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 2:19 pm.

Mark Steven Hendrix, age 55, 906 Park Avenue, New Matamoras, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hendrix was arrested on Putnam Street by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 8:15 pm.

Robert Justin Wells, age 29, 420 Coal Run Drive, Lowell, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Wells was picked up at the Morgan County line by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Mar 11 at 9:20 pm.
