On 20 Mar 11 Kelly J. Hanes, age 41, 236 Francis
Road, Lowell, reported she visited her son’s residence
at 312 Third Street, Lowell, overnight and at some point during
that time four pre-paid mobile phones were stolen from her vehicle.
Ms. Hanes stated an iPod and a radar detector were also stolen
from her son’s girlfriend’s vehicle. This case remains
under investigation (1104).
On 20 Mar 11 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart arrested
Sharon R. Alleman, age 52, 1211 Burnett Road, Cutler, for disorderly
conduct by intoxication. A family member reported Ms. Alleman
was extremely intoxicated, screaming about her cat and barely
able to stand. Unable to care for herself due to her inebriety,
Ms. Alleman was transported to the Washington County Jail for
her safety. At the jail Ms. Alleman tested .301 BAC.
On 20 Mar 11 Andrew Allen, age 30, 27400 State
Route 7 Lot 45, Marietta, reported when he awoke that morning
he discovered his flat panel television, an Xbox and between
thirty and forty Playstation and Xbox games were missing from
his living room. Mr. Allen said two acquaintances returned to
his residence with he and his wife after visiting a local bar
and the group continued to drink for several hours. Awakened
by one of the acquaintances, Mr. Allen said the other individual
was gone and had left with his acquaintance’s purse in
his vehicle. Deputy Sheriff Schubert located the suspect at
his residence in Beverly and noticed a television similar to
the one Mr. Allen reported stolen. Visibly nervous and stuttering,
the suspect later admitted stealing the items from Mr. Allen’s
residence. Deputy Schubert subsequently took possession of the
stolen items and arranged for them to be returned to Mr. Allen.
The acquaintance’s purse was recovered on Third Street
in Marietta but was missing cash and credit cards. Charges in
this case will be filed at a later date.
On 20 Mar 11 a fifteen year old Lowell resident
was riding her bicycle southbound on Walnut Street in Lowell
when she struck the front passenger side fender of a Chrysler
minivan driven by Linda C. Lohr, age 61, 117 Sixth Street, Beverly.
Mrs. Lohr was slowing to stop prior to exiting an alley at that
location when the collision occurred. The teenager, who suffered
minor injury when she fell over her handlebars, said she was
turning to travel down the alley and that the brakes on her
bike do not work very well. Neither the bicycle nor the minivan
was damaged (1184).

was processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sharon Renee Alleman, age 52, 141 Burnett Road,
Cutler, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Alleman was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart
