Archive of 03-14-11

On 14 Mar 11 William R. Hoover, age 63, 135 Hoover Lane, Cutler, reported he was on his property that morning when he noticed an ATV upside down in a creek near the intersection of Darnold Road and Walsh Road. Deputy Sheriff Smeeks contacted the ATV’s registered owner but the individual stated he sold the ATV two years ago to an individual from Zanesville. This case remains under investigation.

On 14 Mar 11 Debora K. Williams, age 52, 2908 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported she was involved in an argument with her son Matthew, age 21. Mrs. Williams said her son was upset because she would not allow him to borrow her car and began throwing items around the upstairs of their residence. At one point Mr. Williams threw a board and struck his mother in arm and leg as she stood at the bottom of a flight of stairs. Mrs. Williams also stated her son retrieved a shotgun from the upstairs but at no time did he point it at or make immediate threats to anyone. Confirming his mother’s statement concerning the afternoon’s events, Mr. Williams was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Daryl Eugene Bowersock, age 42, 21185 State Route 26, Wingett Run, for nonsupport of dependants. Bowersock turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 1:53 pm.

Jerry Dean Coleman, age 49, 7188 Southdale Road, Stockport, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Coleman was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 2:56 pm.

Heather Marie Manges, age 31, 520 Honeytown Road, Wooster, OH, for two felony counts of possession of drugs. Manges was picked up at the Wayne County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Tornes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 3:37 pm.

Matthew Ryan Williams, age 21, 2908 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 4:28 pm.

Daniel Paul Bonar, age 32, 803 Florence Street, Belpre, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Bonar was arrested at his residence by Detective Smithberger of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 7:52 pm.

Jennifer Marie Brown, age 24, 1601 Maryland Avenue, Lorain, OH, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Brown was arrested near milepost two on Interstate 77 by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 14 Mar 11 at 9:19 pm.
