On 2 Mar 11 Brittany A. Judson, age 23, 705 Wallace Road, Little Hocking, reported her father, Mitchell, age 51, punched her in the face. Ms. Judson said her father was highly intoxicated when she interrupted a conversation he was having with her eleven year old brother. Though she apologized for her faux pas, Ms. Judson said her father quickly became angry and approached her from across the room. It was at that point that Ms. Judson said her father punched her and knocked her to the floor. Ms. Judson fled outdoors and her father pursued, shouting at her as she left in her vehicle. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Anderson, Mr. Judson admitted striking his daughter but claimed he only slapped her with an open hand. As a result of his investigation, Deputy Anderson arrested Mr. Judson for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 2 Mar 11 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a warrant for William H. Keel, age 48, 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking, for violating the terms of a protection order. Investigating an alleged domestic dispute involving Mr. Keel in Little Hocking, Deputy Anderson determined Mr. Keel departed the residence in a vehicle with his wife. A protection order issued following a previous incident between Mr. Keel and his wife forbids him from having any contact with her. Additionally, Mrs. Keel stated she has spoken to her husband on the phone while the protection order was in effect.

On 2 Mar 11 the principal at Barlow-Vincent Elementary School reported a seventh grade student assaulted a teacher’s aide the previous morning. The thirteen year old Vincent resident’s teacher said the juvenile was highly agitated and began arguing with her when she asked him to clean a mess around his desk. When the teacher’s aide attempted to encourage the student to clean the mess she said the teenager charged at her and struck her body with the full force of his body. The principal stated when she arrived at the classroom the student continued his abusive behavior and repeatedly shouted obscenities at her. Deputy Sheriff Rhodes investigated this case and will file charges against the juvenile in the near future.
