On 28 Feb 11 Teri Long, age 34, 2087 Barth Road, Belpre, reported the father of her three year old child refused to return the girl to her custody. Ms. Long said the child’s father had custody of her daughter while she was in rehab last year but the two do not have a formal custody agreement. Interviewing the child’s father, Deputy Sheriff Caltrider learned the father filed for custody and was recently granted temporary custody by the court. Deputy Caltrider updated Ms. Long on the situation and informed her she would receive paperwork from the court regarding a custody hearing. Determining no crime occurred, Deputy Caltrider closed this case as unfounded.

On 28 Feb 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a citation to John L. Blind, age 60, 15 Hickory Lane, Waterford, for failure to obey a traffic control device. Sgt. Hornbeck stopped Mr. Blind after he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of State Route 60 and Walnut Street in Lowell.

On 28 Feb 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a citation to Kent E. Stafford, age 29, 5840 Hillandale Drive, Nashport, OH, for failure to obey a traffic control device. Sgt. Hornbeck stopped Mr. Stafford after he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of State Route 60 and Walnut Street in Lowell.

On 28 Feb 11 Sgt. Hornbeck issued a citation to Brad E. Merritt, age 55, 45 Fair Avenue, Beverly, for failure to obey a traffic control device. Sgt. Hornbeck stopped Mr. Merritt after he failed to stop at a red light at the intersection of State Route 60 and Walnut Street in Lowell.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William Edward Foreman, age 35, 804 Front Street, Marietta, for failure to appear and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Foreman was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 11 at 12:48 pm.

Donald Eugene Sharp, age 30, 301 Main Street, Waterford, for violating the terms of his probation and for two counts of failure to appear, all misdemeanors. Sharp was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 11 at 8:28 pm.

Jeremy Deane Cutshaw, age 39, 1220 Two Mile Run Road, Cutler, for three felony counts of possession of drugs. Cutshaw was arrested on State Route 821 by Detective Smithberger of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 11 at 8:52 pm.

Jeremy Shane Augenstein, age 31, 717 Third Street, Marietta, for tampering with drugs, a felony. Augenstein was arrested at his residence by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 11 at 9:42 pm.

Ananda Joy Trembly, age 34, 717 Third Street, Marietta, for possession of drugs, a felony. Trembly was arrested at her residence by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Feb 11 at 10:09 pm.
