On 6 Feb 11 Dana Stone, age 56, 1358 Twin Bridge Road, Little Hocking, reported when he arrived at his farm at 851 State Route 124, Little Hocking, to feed his cattle he discovered approximately 150 feet of electrical wiring was missing one of his silos. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 6 Feb 11 a parishioner at Beech Grove Methodist Church, 350 Newells Run Road, Newport, reported when she unlocked the church that morning she discovered a fire extinguisher had been discharged throughout the building. Further inspection of the church revealed broken windows and damage to doors where the suspect(s) attempted to forcibly enter locked rooms. This case remains under investigation (594).

On 6 Feb 11 Lt. Gherke issued a citation to Stephen W. Gould, age 39, 316 Maple Street, Davisville, WV, for operating a vehicle with fictitious plates. Lt. Gherke stopped Mr. Gould on State Route 7 near Veto Road in Dunham Township.

On 6 Feb 11 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested William H. Keel, age 48, 1666 School House Road, Little Hocking, for aggravated menacing and for violating the terms of a protection order. Neighbors of Mr. Keel reported that Mr. Keel phoned their residence several times and left threatening messages on their answering machine. The victims stated they feared for their safety as a result of the threats. At the time of his arrest Mr. Keel was at the home of his wife in violation of a protection order she has against him.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Charles Edwin Day Jr., age 27, 830 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for OVI, failure to signal, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Day was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Feb 11 at 1:45 am.

William Christopher Fore, age 26, 25450 Cemetery Road, Coolville, for OVI, driving outside the marked lanes of travel and failing to obey the right of way, all misdemeanors. Fore was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman Caldwell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Feb 11 at 4:40 am.
