Archive of 02-01-11

On 1 Feb 11 Mayford Miller, age 52, 1114 Walsh Road, Vincent, reported he had a portion of his property timbered and he then cuts the timber and sells it. Mr. Miller said on three or four occasions it appears truckloads of timber were taken from his property without permission. This case remains under investigation (1104).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Nicholas James Patterson, age 28, 2201 Murray Street, Belpre, for being a fugitive from justice, a felony. Patterson was arrested in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 11 at 9:31 am.

Melanie Renee Lang, age 29, 1421 Lancaster Street Apt. 100H, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Lang was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Ferrell and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 11 at 10:58 pm.

Chapman Lee Rake, age 22, 108 Third Street Apt. B, Belpre, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Rake was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Hunter of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 11 at 11:06 am.

David Wayne Evans, age 35, 178 Kinnear Alley, Columbus, for nonsupport of dependents and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Evans was arrested in Macksburg by Deputy Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 11 at 1:43 pm.

Tiffany Anne Bowersock, age 22, 1005 Orchard Street Apt. 6, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, for breach of recognizance and for two counts of theft, all misdemeanors. Bowersock was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 1 Feb 11 at 2:38 pm.
