On 19 Jan 11 Deputy Sheriff Carr requested a warrant for Jeremy W. Campbell, age 29, 840 Echo Valley Road, Waterford, for violating the terms of a protection order. In violation of a protection order issued following a domestic dispute with his wife, Mr. Campbell entered an unlocked door at the residence of Jennifer D. Campbell, age 27, at 391 Echo Valley Road, Waterford. Ms. Campbell stated her estranged husband then forced open a locked bathroom door where she was hiding from him and begged on his knees for her forgiveness. Mr. Campbell then fled when he discovered law enforcement was en route.

On 19 Jan 11 Sgt. Hornbeck responded to the scene of death of a seventy-four year old Belpre resident. The victim’s death appears to be due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Though no foul play is suspected, this case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Thomas Edward Nicholson, age 23, 22579 State Route 60, Beverly, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Nicholson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Caltrider and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jan 11 at 1:34 am.

Michael Lance Palmer, age 39, 650 Birch Street, Coshocton, OH, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor. Palmer was picked in Coshocton County by Deputy Sheriff Tornes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jan 11 at 12:40 pm.

William Lewis Mitchell, age 44, 3261 School House Road, Little Hocking, for possession of drugs and tampering with evidence, both felonies. Mitchell was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Jan 11 at 3:40 pm.
