On 10 Jan 11 Karsun R. Bays, age 20, 1465 Windy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported she was involved in an altercation with her former live-in boyfriend Brandon Payne, age 20, 127 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. Ms. Bays said the incident began with Mr. Payne pulling her hair at his residence and continued as she drove the two to her residence. Ms. Bays said when they arrived at the intersection of Veto Road and Tick Ridge Road Mr. Payne broke the windshield wiper lever on the vehicle’s steering column. When she stopped the vehicle to seek the assistance of a passing motorist, Ms. Bays said Mr. Payne pinned her to the hood of the vehicle by her arms. Mr. Payne continued to yell at Ms. Bays and repeatedly punched the hood of the vehicle. Mr. Payne fled prior to the arrival of Deputy Sheriff Carr and could not be located. Consequently, Deputy Carr requested warrants for Mr. Payne for domestic violence and criminal damaging.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Corey Andrew Vaughan, age 25, 330 Gallery Drive, Marysville, OH, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Vaughan was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jan 11 at 10:19 am.

William Edward Foreman, age 35, Marietta, for a felony charge of theft and for a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle without a license. Foreman was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jan 11 at 10:45 am.

Jacob Lee Hall, age 29, 35610 State Route 7, Newport, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Hall turned himself in to Sgt. Underwood at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 10 Jan 11 at 2:28 pm.
