On 2 Jan 11 Jason E. Voshel, age 30, 400 County
House Lane, Marietta, reported his girlfriend picked him up
near a residence at 8255 Muskingum River Road in Lowell and
as they passed the residence a group of males forced the vehicle
to stop. While they were stopped Mr. Voshel stated the individuals
threatened him and kicked the driver’s side door of the
van, which belongs to his girlfriend’s mother. This case
remains under investigation (610).
On 2 Jan 10 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation
to Chad E. Stock, age 18, 257 Front Drive, New Matamoras, for
failure to obey a traffic control device. Sgt. Underwood stopped
Mr. Stock after he failed to stop at a stop sign when turning
from Grandview Avenue onto State Route 7 in New Matamoras.
On 2 Jan 11 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Charles
W. Baker III, age 38, 435 Frances Road, Lowell, for being in
possession of a weapon while under disability. Assisting the
Morgan County Sheriff’s Office in an investigation involving
a twelve gauge shotgun, Deputy Carr determined Mr. Baker was
in possession of the weapon in question. Mr. Baker is under
disability and not permitted to possess a firearm as a result
of a prior conviction for gross sexual imposition.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ruthie Dulcia Scoggan, age 24, 330 Franklin
Street Apt. A., Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation,
a felony. Scoggan was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Underwood
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jan 11 at 5:30 am.
Charles William Baker III, age 38, 435 Frances
Road, Lowell, for being in possession of a weapon while under
disability, a felony. Baker was arrested at his residence by
Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Jan 11 at 11:55 am.
