On 16 Nov 10 David Schoonover, age 47, 27242 Marietta Road, Sardis, reported he was involved in a confrontation with another individual while he visited his girlfriend at 712 Fourth Street, New Matamoras. Mr. Schoonover said following the confrontation he discovered the tires were deflated on the driver side of his truck. Examining the tires, Deputy Sheriff Schubert was unable to find any evidence of punctures. Informed of the absence of punctures, Mr. Schoonover then alleged the suspect deflated the tires. Unable to find any witnesses or evidence a crime, Deputy Schubert closed this case as unfounded.

On 16 Dec 10 Deputy Sheriff Schubert arrested Pamela S. Carpenter, age 52, 621 Virginia Street, Marietta, for OVI. Stopped on State Route 7 near Sandhill Road after her vehicle’s tires struck a curb, Ms. Carpenter slurred her speech and had red, watery eyes. Following her poor performance on field sobriety tests, Ms. Carpenter was transported to the Washington County Jail. At the jail Ms. Carpenter tested .128 BAC.
