Archive of 11-20-10

On 20 Nov 10 Mark Menke, age 59, 65 Forshey Road, Marietta, reported he was at the grocery store late the previous evening when he noticed his credit cards and his driver’s license were missing from his wallet. Mr. Menke said he allowed a homeless man to spend two days at his home beginning on 15 Nov but he was still in possession of his credit cards after he dropped off the homeless man at Wal-Mart. Mr. Menke believes the items were stolen from his wallet while he napped the afternoon of 19 Nov. This case remains under investigation (1209).

On 20 Nov 10 Tracy Tice, age 25, 3719 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported she departed her residence at 1 pm and when she returned at 4:30 pm she noticed a door on a computer desk was broken. Upon further examination Ms. Tice stated a jar containing $50 in change and a .22 rifle belonging to her live-in boyfriend were missing. This case remains under investigation (1209).

On 20 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation to Charles E. Callahan, age 41, 111 Sealy Ridge Road, Little Hocking, for operating a vehicle with an expired driver’s license. Deputy Rhodes stopped Mr. Callahan for a lane change violation on US 50 near State Route 339 in Belpre Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brelen Wayne Leleux, age 18, 28378 Torch Road, Coolville, for two felony counts of receiving stolen property and for a misdemeanor charge of OVI. Leleux was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 10 at 5:57 am.

David Lee Perine, age 25, 503 Ferguson Street, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Perine was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 10 at 9:29 pm.

Daryl Edward Adams, age 57, 504 Front Street Apt. B, Marietta, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Adams was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 10 at 10:52 pm.
