Archive of 11-15-10

On 15 Nov 10 a seventeen year old Lowell resident reported the father of her son phoned her more than twenty times that evening. Despite her previous requests to not contact her, the victim said the suspect threatened to blow up her house and shoot her in the head. This case remains under investigation (1209).

On 15 Nov 10 the Fearing Fire Department transported a twelve year old Lowell resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital after she was kicked in the hip by a horse. The juvenile was in a stall feeding a six year old mare quarter horse when the animal kicked her in the right hip area. Suffering minor injury, the juvenile was due to be released from the hospital (790).

On 15 Nov 10 an employee of Heiss Plumbing and Electric, 314 Fourth Street, Lowell, reported sometime between noon on 13 Nov and 7:45 on 15 Nov an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered the business. From storage building inside the business the suspect(s) stole sixteen rolls of electrical wire and five HVAC line sets. The stolen items weigh around 450 pounds and have a value of approximately $2,800. This case remains under investigation (1184).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Gerald Quentin Smith, age 18, 8292 State Route 550, Vincent, for assault, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Nov 10 at 5:10 pm.
