On 8 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff Mankins conducted
a traffic stop on Pike Street near Acme Street on a vehicle
driven by Gary L. Twyman, age 54, 1000 Kemper Street Apt. 2,
Parkersburg. Asked about the status of his driver’s license,
Mr. Twyman admitted his license was suspended and also that
he was consuming beer in his vehicle. After handing Deputy Mankins
a half full can of Bud Light he was arrested for driving under
a suspended license and consuming alcohol in a vehicle and transported
to the Washington County Jail.
On 8 Nov 10 an employee at the Pit Stop, 3355
State Route 821, Marietta, reported finding a paper bag containing
five sample bottles of the prescription drug Strattera in the
parking lot that morning. This case remains under investigation
On 8 Nov 10 Richard Britton, age 56, 11165
Highland Ridge Road, Macksburg, reported he locked and departed
his residence at 1 pm and when he returned at 3:30 pm he discovered
a front window was broken. Mr. Britton said no property appears
missing and he doesn’t believe entry was gained into his
home. This case remains under investigation (594).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Donald James Covey, age 36, 306 Putnam Avenue,
Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants. Covey was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Wright of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
8 Nov 10 at 12:22 am.
Gary Lee Twyman, age 54, 1000 Kemper Street
Apt. 2, Parkersburg, for consuming alcohol in a vehicle, a misdemeanor.
Twyman was arrested in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 10 at 1:32
Santana Lynette Lake, age 24, 109 ½
Wooster Street, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Lake turned
herself in at Marietta Municipal Court and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 10 at 9:10 am.
