On 6 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Newport resident to appear
in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by possession of
drug paraphernalia. Caught smoking marijuana by his mother,
the juvenile provided Deputy Mankins with a Red Bull can he
fashioned as a marijuana smoking device.
On 6 Nov 10 the owner of Dough Boys Pizza,
4780 State Route 60, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an
unknown suspect(s) pried open the rear door to the business
and stole the restaurant’s safe. This case remains under
On 6 Nov 10 Jeffrey Ash, age 52, 35 Muskingum
River Road, Marietta, reported an unknown suspect placed a trail
camera on his property without permission. This case remains
under investigation (790).
On 6 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff McLeish was on patrol
near the intersection of Hills Bridge Road and Zion Ridge Road
when he noticed a vehicle parked at a known party location.
Stopping to question the driver, later identified as Tyler D.
Adams, age 18, 75 Sandhill Road, Marietta, Deputy McLeish noticed
an odor of marijuana. Mr. Adams admitted he was smoking marijuana
in the vehicle and produced a marijuana pipe and two small bags
of marijuana. Consequently, Deputy McLeish arrested Mr. Adams
for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Tyler Darin Adams, age 18, 75 Sandhill Road,
Marietta, for possession of drugs and for possession of drug
paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Adams was arrested on State
Route 26 by Deputy Sheriff McLeish and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 6 Nov 10 at 7:18 pm.
Natosha Nicole Patterson, age 20, 2009 16th
Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Patterson
was turned in by US Bail Bonds and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 6 Nov 10 at 9:22 pm.
