On 4 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff Reeder requested
a summons for Autumn Smith, age 35, 115 Longacre Street, Marietta,
for theft. In late September Ms. Smith allegedly to an aluminum
rim belonging to boyfriend’s son and sold the rim at a
local recycling center for $14. Employees at the recycling center
identified Ms. Smith as a suspect after noticing the rim she
sold was the same as one purchased at the business no long ago.
On 4 Nov 10 the vice principal at Warren High
School reported a fifteen year old female student was acting
strangely and may be intoxicated. When questioned, the juvenile
stated a friend gave her three pills after she asked her friend
if she had any medication for cramps. Two of the pills were
identified by the teenager’s friend as Ambien and the
other as lithium. Deputy Sheriff Caltrider is conferring with
the Prosecutor’s Office to determine the appropriate charges
to file in this case.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Monte Noel Cristia, age 46, 1009 Laird Avenue,
Parkersburg, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Cristia was
arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 4 Nov 10 at 1:39 pm.
Mitchell Lee Greenwood, age 25, 35 Heeter Road,
Newport, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Greenwood was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Nov 10 at
Michael Richard Sobieski, age 29, 784 Greene
Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Sobieski
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Nov 10 at 8:35 pm.
