On 2 Nov 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes requested a summons for a seventeen year old Little Hocking resident to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency by possession of marijuana. A witness at the Washington County Career Center reported smelling marijuana in the women’s restroom that morning and the suspect was identified as signing out of class to use the restroom. Later questioned by a school administrator, the juvenile was found in possession of a partially burned marijuana joint.

On 2 Nov 10 Corrections Officer Farrell filed a felony charge on Washington County Jail inmate Dominick A. Conley, age 19, 1260 Deitz Lane, Zanesville, for assault on a corrections officer. Uncooperative when he was informed he was being moved to a lockdown cell for violating jail rules, Mr. Conley stated to two Corrections Officers that “one of you is about to get bit.” A struggle ensued as the COs attempted to escort Mr. Conley to his new cell and at one point Mr. Conley ended up on top of a CO on the floor. Mr. Conley bit the CO in the neck and was about to bite the CO a second time when he was subdued by assisting officers. Conley is being held in the Washington County Jail on charges in Zanesville that he assaulted a police officer and a K-9. The CO received treatment for a minor injury and was prescribed antibiotics as a precaution.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

William Gonzalez, age 45, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 11, Marietta, for a felony charge of being a fugitive from justice and for misdemeanor charges of OVI and driving outside the marked lanes of travel. Gonzalez was arrested on Glendale Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 2:05 am.

Nicholas Thomas Lewis, age 26, 109 First Avenue, Paden City, WV, for four counts of felonious assault and for ten felony counts of child endangering. Lewis turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 8:08 am.

Brian Keith Hitchcock, age 31, 111 Spring Street, Marietta, for breaking and entering, a felony. Hitchcock was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 9:20 am.

Joshua Leroy Gore, age 22, 130 Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines. Gore was arrested in Common Pleas Court by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 10:10 am.

Preston William Eakins, age 19, 3789 Kingswood Drive, Kettering, OH, for theft and for two counts of burglary, all felonies. Eakins turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 3:35 pm.

Tor Lamont Hill Jr., age 19, 1104 26th Street Apt. 1, Parkersburg, theft and for two counts of burglary, all felonies. Hill turned himself in to Corrections Officers and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 3:46 pm.

Rodney Carl Delancey, age 54, 200 Pennock Street Lot 64, Beverly, for two counts of rape and for four counts of gross sexual imposition, all felonies. Delancey was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Nov 10 at 8:50 pm.
