On 28 Oct 10 Jena L. Stewart, age 21, 1308 Williamson Avenue Apt. 5B, New Matamoras, reported she loaned her HP laptop computer to a neighbor the previous day and when she asked her neighbor to return the computer later in the day her neighbor could not find it. Ms. Stewart said she helped her neighbor search her apartment for the computer but the two only found the laptop’s power cord. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 28 Oct 10 Aric Nutter, age 20, 885 Beebe Road, Waterford, reported at 3 pm he parked his Chevy S-10 at the intersection of State Route 339 and State Route 676 and carpooled to work. When he returned to his vehicle the following morning Mr. Nutter said the passenger side window was broken. Mr. Nutter then noticed his CD player, GPS unit, a coat and various hand tools were missing from inside the truck. This case remains under investigation (790).

On 28 Oct 10 Kelly J. Lang, age 48, 5320 Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, reported when she and her husband arrived home from work they noticed several items missing from their home. Property stolen from the residence includes prescription medication, a laptop computer, two trail cameras, crossbow equipment and miscellaneous change. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 28 Oct 10 Marsha Tornes, age 48, 4028 Watertown Road, Waterford, reported while she was at work between 8:40 am and 1:30 pm, an unknown suspect(s) entered her home and stole a dish containing approximately $75 in change. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 28 Oct 10 Rosa M. Ellis, age 66, 1705 Watertown Road, Waterford, reported she departed her home at 9:20 am and when she returned around noon she noticed items missing from her home. Mrs. Ellis stated the unknown suspect(s) stole a necklace, approximately $150 in quarters and a lockbox containing large sums of currency and savings bonds. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 28 Oct 10 Donald R. Smith, age 56, 706 Third Street, New Matamoras, reported he was inside his residence when he heard a loud bang. A short time later Mr. Smith was about to enter his Chevy Astrovan, which was parked along the street, when he noticed a dent and scrape marks on the rear fender on the driver side of the vehicle. The crash caused functional damage. This incident remains under investigation (1209).

On 28 Oct 10 Richard M. Cisler, age 63, 2070 Rinard Mills Road, New Matamoras, reported sometime between 24 Oct and 27 Oct an unknown suspect(s) stole a .22 rifle from behind the seat of his truck. This case remains under investigation (1209).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Angela Joy Bean, age 33, 3309 Third Avenue, Vienna, for theft, a misdemeanor. Bean was arrested at Wal-Mart by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 10 at 3:10 pm.
