On 26 Oct 10 an employee at Warren Elementary School, 16855 state Route 550, Marietta, reported she was in the teacher’s lounge when she noticed glass on the floor and a broken window. Upon further examination the employee observed the soft drink machine was pried open and the cash box was empty. The suspect(s) also attempted to pry open two other soft drink machines near the gymnasium but were unsuccessful. The amount of cash and change stolen from the machine is unknown. This case remains under investigation (208).

On 26 Oct 10 Becky Warren, age 39, 2939 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported she was involved in a dispute with her husband Todd, age 41, at their residence that morning. Arguing with her husband over property missing from their home during their divorce proceedings, Ms. Warren was videotaping various places in the home. Mr. Warren attempted to prevent his wife from filming and shut off the home’s breaker so the inside of the home would be dark. A struggle over the video camera followed, during which time Ms. Warren said the two bumped into the refrigerator, doors and bar in the kitchen. Ms. Warren said she released her grip of the camera because she feared what her husband would do if she didn’t allow him to have it. Consulting with the Law Director, Deputy Sheriff Reeder determined the incident did not fit the requirements for a charge of domestic violence. However, Deputy Reeder issued Mr. Warren a citation for disorderly conduct and later requested a warrant for him for menacing.
