A search warrant executed by Task Force Agents

semi-automatic handgun and $4,250 in cash. In addition to the

relating to a kidnapping, abduction and bank robbery in Waterford
on 9 Oct 93. During that incident Montgomery entered the home
of the vice president of Waterford Commercial and Savings Bank,
bound the man’s family members with duct tape and threatened
them with a sawed off shotgun. Montgomery forced the victim
to access the bank’s vault, from which he removed approximately
$23,000. Montgomery fled but was later arrested in Germany where
he had previously served in the military.
