Archive of 10-11-10

On 11 Oct 10 Deanna Delong, age 56, 28 Briarbey Lane, Fleming, reported the previous afternoon she was involved in a domestic dispute with her husband Daniel, age 63. Standing next to her husband’s vehicle and attempting to convince him not to leave the residence, Mrs. Delong said her husband twisted her arm and slammed her head against the door frame. Mrs. Delong said her husband “flipped out,” took her mobile phone a struck the top of her head. Mrs. Delong stated her husband left the residence and when she saw him return the next day she feared what he may do to her. In consequence, Deputy Sheriff Travaglio requested a warrant for Mr. Delong for domestic violence.

On 11 Oct 10 Christopher S. Doak, age 41, 785 Swift Road, Waterford, reported he departed for work on 2 Oct and when he returned he found his home in disarray. Taking inventory of his belongings, Mr. Doak said a handgun, three shotguns, a muzzleloader, two fishing poles, two hunting knives and various hand tools were missing. This case remains under investigation (1104).

On 11 Oct 10 Denine L. Mullins, age 30, 2220 Federal Road, Little Hocking, reported she was involved in a dispute with her live-in boyfriend Chad A. Westbrook, age 25. Arguing on the porch at their home, Ms. Mullins said Mr. Westbrook struck a grill with a chair and knocked hot coals onto the porch. Several items caught fire but the fire was extinguished with a garden hose shortly thereafter. Ms. Mullins said after she fled to her vehicle and locked the doors that Mr. Westbrook retrieved a metal fence post and broke all of the windows on the vehicle. Ms. Mullins commented she was not injured but was fearful as glass shattered in the vehicle around her. Escaping inside a neighbor’s home, Ms. Mullins phoned a friend and left the residence along with her children. As a result of the incident, Deputy Sheriff Smeeks arrested Mr. Westbrook for domestic violence and criminal damaging and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Michelle Christine Carsner, age 49, 29060 Houston Road, Little Hocking, for criminal mischief, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Carsner arrested in Little Hocking by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 10 at 2:30 am.

Monty Lee Thompson, age 29, 39387 State Route 7, Sardis, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Thompson arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 10 at 11:04 am.

Chad Alan Westbrook, age 25, 2220 Federal Road, Little Hocking, for domestic violence and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Westbrook arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 10 at 12:27 pm.

Seath Andrew Sebring, age 21, 1901 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for assault and for violating the terms of a protection order, both misdemeanors. Sebring arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 10 at 1:02 pm.

Sammy Eugene Messer, age 43, 509 Florence Street, Belpre, for resisting arrest and for two counts of disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors. Messer was arrested on Fifth Street by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Oct 10 at 7:48 pm.
