On 9 Oct 10 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested a summons for a sixteen year old Belpre resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. In violation the orders of her mother, the juvenile met Adam H. Dunfee, age 23, 3708 Dunfee Road, Coolville, prior to school on at least three occasions. The teenager’s mother previously informed Mr. Dunfee that he was not to have contact with her daughter and stated to Deputy Mankins that her daughter did not have permission to meet the juvenile on any of the occasions. Consequently, Deputy Mankins requested a summons for Mr. Dunfee for contributing to the unruliness of a minor.

On 9 Oct 10 Deputy Sheriff Mankins requested summonses for Derek A. Armstrong, age 18, 330 1/2 Franklin Street, Marietta, and Zachary W. Jones, age 19, 163 Washington Street, Waterford, for underage consumption of alcohol and criminal mischief. While working a special detail at Waterford High School that evening, Deputy Mankins observed the two suspects fiddling with the windshield wipers of vehicles in the parking lot. Mr. Jones and Mr. Armstrong both had an odor of alcohol and stated that they consumed beer at Mr. Jones’ house earlier in the evening.

On 9 Oct 10 Sgt. Hornbeck requested a summons for Vernon D. Paul, age 43, 305 Cedar Ridge Road, Lowell, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Mr. Paul’s fiancée reported he returned home from a wedding highly intoxicated, called her derogatory names and threw a barstool from his porch into the yard. Another witness confirmed Mr. Paul’s fiancée’s statement, saying he was “violently drunk.” Neither witness reported being threatened not did they state they were in fear for their safety.

On 9 Oct 10 Sgt. Hornbeck arrested Nathan A. Bunner, age 26, PO Box 41, Stewart, for .17 breath OVI and speeding. Observed speeding on US 50 near milepost four, Mr. Bunner had an odor of alcohol and glassy, bloodshot eyes. Following his poor performance on field sobriety tests, Mr. Bunner was transported to the Washington County Jail where he tested .183 BAC. While en route to the jail, Mr. Bunner commented that he was drunk and had consumed around eight beers that evening.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Nathan Andrew Bunner, age 26, PO Box 41, Stewart, For OVI and speeding, both misdemeanors. Bunner arrested near milepost four on US 50 by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 10 at 4:00 am.

Natosha Nicole Patterson, age 20, 2009 Sixteenth Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Patterson was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 10 at 9:03 pm.

Kathryn Elizabeth Hasley, age 19, 721 ½ Fourth Street, Marietta, for failure to confine/restrain a dog, a misdemeanor. Hasley was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 9 Oct 10 at 11:14 pm.
