On 8 Oct 10 Natalie A. Jarvis, age 47, 29465
State Route 7, Marietta, reported she and her boyfriend departed
their residence at 8 am on 7 Oct and when they returned around
midnight she discovered her HP laptop computer was missing.
This case remains under investigation (1184).
On 8 Oct 10 Deputy Sheriff Anderson and the
Barlow Fire Department responded to a fire at 1171 Woodruff
Road, Vincent. James Woodruff, age 71, stated he was operating
a combine in his soybean field when the machine caught fire.
Mr. Woodruff extinguished the fire with a fire extinguisher
and was unsure how much it would cost to repair the damage.
On 8 Oct 10 a passing motorist reported a red
vehicle was parked along Two Mile Run Road in Cutler and that
the alleged driver was walking around the vehicle talking to
herself. Deputy Sheriff Rhodes located the vehicle and observed
three empty sixteen ounce cans of beer inside it. A short distance
away Deputy Rhodes found the driver and identified her as Starla
F. Tabler, age 40, 21276 McGraw Road, Stewart. Ms. Tabler had
a strong odor of alcohol, was unsteady on her feet and had glassy,
bloodshot eyes. For Ms. Tabler’s safety, Deputy Rhodes
arrested her for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported
her to the Washington County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Whitney S. Nelson, age 21, 343 Hardy Heights,
Washington, WV, for violating the terms of her probation by
obtaining a new charge of OVI on 1 Oct 10.
Jamie C. Waters, age 38, 216 Third Street,
Lowell, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to appear for a scheduled appointment.
James R. Kisner, age 28, 503 High Street, Vincent,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 4 Oct 10.
Denise J. May, age 35, 1308 Williamson Avenue
Apt. 8B, New Matamoras, for failing to appear for pretrial on
4 Oct 10.
Seath A. Sebring, age 21, 1901 Lang Farm Road,
Marietta, for assault and for violating the terms of a protection
order on 3 Oct 10.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jeffrey L. Danley Sr., age 49, 6317 Elm Place,
Seabring, FL, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Danley was arrested on Gilman Avenue by Patrolman McCracken
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 10 at 8:30 pm.
Steven Lee Hallett, age 54, 1607 Hill Street
Apt. 3, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Hallett
was arrested on Hill Street by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Oct 10 at 8:35 pm.
Starla Faye Tabler, age 40, 21276 McGraw Road,
Stewart, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Tabler was arrested on Two Mile Run Road by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Oct 10 at
9:40 pm.
