On 16 Sep 10 Stephanie E. Rector, age 27, 27400 State Route 7 Lot 47, Marietta, reported she was involved in an argument with her boyfriend’s stepfather at his residence in Marietta and at one point during the disagreement he slapped her in the face. Interviewing the alleged suspect and a witness, Deputy Sheriff Simmons determined any contact between Ms. Rector and the suspect was only incidental and no criminal act occurred.

On 16 Sep 10 an employee of Adult Protective Services reported a family member of one of her clients may be misappropriating funds belonging to her client. This case remains under investigation (200).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Amber F. Johnson, age 37, 10015 State Route 260, New Matamoras, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on 1 Sep 10.

Brandon L. Kennedy, age 22, 668 Hill Road, Cutler, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $334.10.

Charles D. McFann, age 46, 4218 Brandeberry Road, Coolville, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $188.50.

Ashana Long, age 18, 305 1/2 Center Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct on 25 Aug 10 and for violating the terms of a protection order, assault and criminal damaging on 14 Sep 10.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Travis Newton Ward, age 27, 808 Franklin Avenue, Belpre, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Ward was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 10 at 12:50 am.

Natosha Nicole Patterson, age 20, 2009 Sixteenth Street, Parkersburg, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Patterson was arrested in Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 10 at 3:45 am.

Matthew Leonard Griffin, age 21, 1312 23rd Street, Vienna, for possession of drugs, speeding, driving under a suspended license and operating a vehicle with fictitious registration, all misdemeanors. Griffin was arrested near milepost nine on State Route 7 by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 10 at 6:01 am.

Alfred Henry Martin III, age 24, 3266 State Route 124, Coolville, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, aggravated vehicular assault and hit-skip, all felonies. Martin turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Deem and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 10 at 9:22 am.

Peter Henry Glowaski, age 48, 848 Greene Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation. Glowaski was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 10 at 3:10 pm.
