On 5 Sep 10 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks and the Little Hocking Fire Department responded to a camper fire at 3222 School House Road, Little Hocking. The camper, owned by Robert S. Gibson, age 40, 111 Keith Street, Parkersburg, burned completely and was a total loss. Mr. Gibson was out of town at the time but his daughter said that the camper was only used for storage and did not contain anything of significant value. Due to low value of the property lost, The Little Hocking fire chief said he would not request that the State Fire Marshal’s Office investigate. The origin of the fire is unknown.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jonathan Ray Sindledecker, age 29, 811 15th Street, Parkersburg, for theft, a misdemeanor. Sindledecker was arrested at McHappy’s Donuts by Patrolman Heddleston of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 10 at 5:16 am.
