On 2 Sep 10 Deputy Sheriff Simmons requested a warrant for Douglas L. Morrison, age 47, address unknown, for violating the terms of a protection order. Despite being arrested for the same offense only days earlier, Mr. Morrison continued to repeatedly phone his estranged wife in violation of the protection order.

On 2 Sep 10 Betty F. Wilson, age 72, 4564 School House Road, Little Hocking, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) stole the bumper guard from the rear of her 1977 Ford van. This case remains under investigation (1209).

On 2 Sep 10 Deputy Sheriff Deem requested summonses for Lynn G. Marshall, age 66, 101 Windy Point Drive, Waterford, and Terry C. Bowie, age 46, 120 Lake Road, Belpre, for disorderly conduct by fighting. Mr. Marshall stated he contracted Mr. Bowie to perform work at his home and an argument erupted over the timing of payment for the work Mr. Bowie was to perform. Mr. Bowie proceeded to threaten Mr. Marshall, called him names and shoved him with his shoulder. Contradictorily, Mr. Bowie denied making any threatening comments and claimed Mr. Marshall initiated the confrontation and shoved him against a door.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

John A. Burkey, age 47, 1401 24th Street, Parkersburg, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear to serve a jail sentence on 13 Aug 10.

Corey G. Friend, age 19, 2807 Dudley Avenue, Parkersburg, for failing to appear for pretrial on 30 Aug 10.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Darren Dale Hall, age 26, 26398 Old Office Road, Culpepper, VA, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Hall was arrested on the Putnam Street bridge by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 10 at 5:00 am.

Frank Vernon Hafner, age 48, 205 Gibbons Street, Marietta, for three felony charges of trafficking in drugs. Hafner was picked up at the Cuyahoga County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Sep 10 at 3:04 pm.
