On 19 Aug 10 Steven Burnfield, age 53, 1833 Burnfield Road, Vincent, reported while he was at work between 3 pm on 18 Aug and 3 am on 19 Aug an unknown suspect entered his home and removed several baskets from atop his kitchen cabinets. Among other reasons, Mr. Burnfield said he suspects a woman he dated two years ago entered his home because was unable to access the internet on his laptop. Mr. Burnfield commented be believes the suspect disabled the computer so he would not be able to chat with other women online. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 19 Aug 10 George E. Shaffer, age 54, 460 Shaffer Road, Waterford, reported two Craftsman wrenches were stolen from a barn on his property at some point during the past two days. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 19 Aug 10 Shawntae N. Cline, age 22, 702 Fourth Street, Belpre, reported she was assaulted by her boyfriend Seath A. Sebring, age 21, 1901 Lang Farm Road, Marietta. After a night at a local bar the two arrived at a home on Coffman Road when an argument erupted over Ms. Cline’s unfaithfulness. Ms. Cline said she attempted to leave the residence but Mr. Sebring would carry her back inside and at one point she fell when he tried to put her down. Ms. Cline had a number of bruises and marks supporting her allegation, including redness around her mouth where she said Mr. Sebring briefly suffocated her. Consequently, Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested Mr. Sebring for assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Marvin Ray Ruble Jr., age 37, 16081 State Route 550, Fleming, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Ruble was arrested on Greene Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Aug 10 at 2:20 am.

Seath Andrew Sebring, age 21, 1901 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Sebring was arrested on State Route 7 in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Aug 10 at 5:00 am.

Marsha L. Brletrick-Ward, age 45, 132 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Ward was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Aug 10 at 1:23 pm.

Kenneth Stanley Ware, age 49, 6370 Rex Road, Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Ware was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Aug 10 at 2:21 pm.

Joseph Lee Slider, age 20, 120 Warner Street Apt. C, Marietta, for obstructing official business, a misdemeanor. Slider was arrested on Harmar Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Aug 10 at 8:30 pm.
