On 4 Aug 10 Deborah K. Sandy, age 53, 125 Millers Lane Apt. B1, Marietta, reported a new prescription for a muscle relaxer was delivered to her home on 27 Jul and she is unable to locate the prescription bottle. Further investigation by Deputy Sheriff Simmons revealed the pharmacy received the new prescription on 27 Jul but did not yet fill or deliver it. Therefore, Deputy Simmons closed this case as unfounded.

On 4 Aug 10 a motorist reported finding a girl’s purple and white Roadmaster bicycle in the median of State Route 7 at the intersection of Blue Knob and Veto roads. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 4 Aug 10 Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Douglas L. Morrison, age 47, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order. Mr. Morrison’s step-daughter reported earlier in the day that Mr. Morrison phoned the home she shares with her mother all hours of the day and night and demands to talk to her mother. In violation of a protection order served on him on 22 Jul, Mr. Morrison left at least fourteen voicemail messages between 2 Aug and 4 Aug.

On 4 Aug 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes responded to a vehicle fire at 513 Broad Street, Macksburg. The Caldwell Fire Department arrived and extinguished the blaze but not before it caused significant damage to the 1995 Ford truck owned by Delmer Lincicome Jr., age 41. The fire appears suspicious in nature and the State Fire Marshal’s office was summoned to conduct further investigation.

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR MOLESTING TWO PRE-TEEN GIRLS

In conclusion to an investigation initiated earlier in the day, Detective Parks yesterday arrested Donald P. Grim, age 38, 225 Masonic Park Lane, Marietta, and charged him with four counts of gross sexual imposition. Detective Parks began an investigation after a twelve year old female reported she was touched inappropriately by Grim on a number of occasions at his home. The victim also stated that she observed Grim touching an eleven year old female and that he would also have the girls touch him. Though he initially denied the allegations, Grim later admitted he has been molesting the twelve year old since she was nine years old and he only recently started touching the eleven year old.

Grim is currently incarcerated without bond on the third degree felony charges and is scheduled to appear in court at 1 pm.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Rhonda Deann Clark, age 34, 1685 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Clark was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Smith and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 10 at 9:25 am.

Brandon Paul Lincoln, age 24, 309 Lord Street, Marietta, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Lincoln was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 10 at 2:55 pm.

David Michael Phillis, age 50, 2245 Clark Hill Road, Beverly, for aggravated burglary, a felony. Phillis was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 10 at 2:55 pm.

Chance Alan Grayson, age 27, 213 Franklin Street, Marietta, for vehicular assault, a felony. Grayson was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 10 at 5:04 pm.

Douglas Lynn Morrison, age 47, 11390 State Route 26, Marietta, for violating the terms of a protection order, a misdemeanor. Morrison turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Carr and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Aug 10 at 10:36 pm.
