On 28 Jul 10 John E. Bonnette, age 56, 4930
State Route 550, Cutler, reported he had just pulled his vehicle
into the parking lot of Par Mar in Barlow when an individual
approached him and made several threatening comments. This case
remains under investigation (200).
On 28 Jul 10 Judy Clegg, age 37, 108 Franklin
Street, Little Hocking, reported her eighteen year old son was
cussing and screaming because he was upset with her house rules.
Questioned by Deputy Sheriffs Deem and Smeeks, the eighteen
year old agreed to cease his behavior and voluntarily left the
residence to avoid further problems. However, several hours
later the Deputies returned to Ms. Clegg’s residence after
she reported her son instigated an argument with her. Ms. Clegg
said at one point her son banged his head against a doorframe,
causing him to fall backward and to temporarily lose consciousness.
The Little Hocking Fire Department responded to the home and
transported the teenager to St. Joseph’s Hospital for
treatment. Deputy Deem anticipates filing charges against the
teenager in the near future.
On 28 Jul 10 the owner of Waterford Tank and
Fabrication, 203 State Route 83, Beverly, reported sometime
between 3 am and 7 am an unknown suspect(s) entered the business
and cut approximately seventy-five feet of copper grounding
wire from a plasma cutter and five welding machines. This case
remains under investigation (1104).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jakeb Michael Bailey, age 19, 4746 Federal
Road, Coolville, for wildlife violations and for violating the
terms of his probation, both misdemeanors. Bailey was arrested
on Franklin Street by Deputy Sheriff Deem and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 28 Jul 10 at 11:59 am.
Seth Wayne Smith, age 20, 43725 Carr Road,
Coolville, for theft, breaking and entering and safecracking,
all felonies. Smith was arrested on State Route 555 by Deputy
Sheriff Holbert and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 28 Jul 10 at 9:34 pm.
