On 27 Jul 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes issued a citation to Aaron C. Goins, age 18, 1340 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, for operating an unsafe vehicle. Deputy Rhodes observed Mr. Goins riding a dirt bike on State Route 550 near State Route 555 in Wesley Township.

On 27 Jul 10 an employee of Stanleyville Stables, 1040 Stanleyville Narrows Road, Whipple, reported an individual’s personal saddle was stolen from a horse stall earlier in the afternoon. This case remains under investigation (1184).

SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR DRUG TRAFFICKING

On Tuesday 27 July 2010 at 1730 Agents with the Major Crimes Task Force executed a search warrant at the residence of Angela D. Day, age 32, 565 B.F. Goodrich Road, Marietta, OH. The Agents discovered three and one-half pounds of marijuana, 11.2 grams of crack cocaine, 25.8 grams of powder cocaine, drug paraphernalia, drug scales and $2,635 dollars in cash. At the time of entry Angela Day and another occupant of the residence were smoking marijuana in the presence of Day’s five year old daughter.

Day was arrested for possession of crack cocaine and incarcerated in the Washington County Jail pending an appearance in Marietta Municipal Court. Charges concerning possession of the other drugs will be presented to a Washington County Grand Jury. Day has a previous arrest for trafficking in drugs resulting from a search warrant executed at the same address in 2004. Children’s Service Bureau has been notified concerning the five year old girl.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Allen Leary Sr., age 44, PO Box 208, Mill Creek, WV, for obstruction of justice, a misdemeanor. Leary was arrested near milepost three on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 1:36 am.

Timothy Ray Shuman, age 61, homeless, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Shuman was arrested near milepost three on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 2:42 am.

Harold White, age 53, homeless, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. White was arrested near milepost three on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 2:58 am.

Charles Glen Hutson, age 33, Route 2 Box 264, Walker, WV, for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Hutson was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 12:06 pm.

Steven Eugene McCabe, age 51, Marietta, for possession of drugs and for trafficking in drugs, both felonies. McCabe was picked up at the Chillicothe Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 2:06 pm.

John Phillip Estes, age 23, 30 Coplin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Estes was picked up at the Ross County Jail by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 2:23 pm.

James Robert Kisner, age 27, 305 High Street, Woodsfield, for two misdemeanor counts of child endangerment. Kisner was picked up at the Monroe County Jail by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 6:32 pm.

Angela Dawn Day, age 32, 565 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, for possession of drugs, a felony. Day was arrested at her residence by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Jul 10 at 7:00 pm.
