On 17 Jul 10 Barbara J. Slider, age 53, reported her foreclosed home at 625 Tower Road, Little Hocking, was forcibly entered at some point during the past month. Ms. Slider stated the suspect(s) stole a ceiling fan and removed the paneling from several walls. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 17 Jul 10 Janet Danner, age 52, 4650 Sandhill Road, Marietta, reported family members were at her home to assist she and her husband preparing corn for the winter when an argument erupted between her husband and her son. The two fought briefly and at one point Mrs. Danner’s husband produced a handgun and commented that he should “just shoot” his wife’s son. Other family members obtained the weapon shortly thereafter and separated the two parties. Deputy Sheriff Simmons anticipates charging both suspects in the near future (592).

On 17 Jul 10 Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested Tiffany K. Martin, age 30, 360 Coffman Road, Marietta, for OVI. Ms. Martin was operating her Ford Ranger on the driveway of 19640 State Route 550, Marietta, when her vehicle became stuck in a ditch. Slurring her speech, Ms. Martin admitted consuming eight beers and commented that she didn’t think it would matter that she was driving up the driveway while intoxicated.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Tiffany Kay Martin, age 30, 360 Coffman Road, Marietta, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Martin was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jul 10 at 1:00 pm.

Russell Leon O’Dell Jr., age 1125 Brownsville Road, New Matamoras, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor. O’Dell was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jul 10 at 3:47 am.

Richard Glenn Newman II, age 44, 200 Pennock Drive Lot 21, Beverly, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Newman was arrested in Beverly by Patrolman Sams of the Beverly Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Jul 10 at 10:51 pm.
