pm and when she returned she discovered an obscenity scrawled
on her garage door with gasoline. In addition to the garage
door, Ms. Schafer saw that numerous flowers were uprooted and
light fixtures outside the home were broken. Ms. Schafer stated
she suspected her ex-boyfriend, Scott Hampshire, age 30, 854
Greene Street Apt. 2, Marietta, caused the damage due to the
fact that he specifically threatened to cause the damage done
when the two broke up two weeks ago. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff

Ann Stewart, age 27, 906 Lynn Street, Parkersburg, involved
in a verbal altercation. As Deputy Holbert separated the two,
Ms. Stewart continued to yell at Mr. Burgy until Deputy Holbert
placed her in his cruiser. Detailing the incident, Mr. Burgy
said Ms. Stewart came to his friend’s home uninvited and
initiated a confrontation over the whereabouts of their son.
At one point during the fracas Mr. Burgy said Ms. Stewart struck
him in the right side of his face. Ms. Stewart was unable to
provide a plausible explanation for her role during the incident
