On 4 Jul 10 Deborah A. Parsons, age 55, 195 Cornerville Road, Marietta, was backing her Ford Explorer from where it was parked in her yard when she struck her home’s gas meter. Ms. Parsons contacted the gas company and the Reno Fire Department to repair a minor leak in the meter. Ms. Parson’s vehicle sustained minor damage (1184).

On 4 Jul 10 Deputy Sheriffs Anderson, Mankins and Simmons investigated reports of a suspicious vehicle in a field at 466 Muskingum Drive, Marietta. Near the vehicle were a tent and an SUV, both of which were occupied. Waking the occupants, the Deputies identified the suspects as Alysha A. Null, age 19, 24604 Rawley Lane, Coolville; Jonah P. Weaver, age 20, 2355 Federal Road, Little Hocking; Corey J. Wittekind, age 20, 2018 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming; and a sixteen year old Waverly, WV resident. The suspects all had an odor of alcohol and each individual admitted consuming alcohol at that location. While the adult suspects were arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and transported to the Washington County Jail, the juvenile was released to her mother’s custody. She will be summonsed to appear in Juvenile Court on a charge of delinquency.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Joseph L. Carthens, age 27, 218 Moore Avenue, Belpre, for operating a vehicle with expired registration, a misdemeanor. Carthens was arrested on Main Street by Patrolman Freed of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 1:17 am.

Timothy Lee Erb, age 47, 1004 Grandview Avenue Apt. A, New Matamoras, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Erb was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 2:33 am.

Alysha Alonda Null, age 19, 614 Old Seven Road, Coolville, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Null was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 4:06 am.

Jonah P. Weaver, age 20, 2355 Federal Road, Little Hocking, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Weaver was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 4:25 am.

Corey Jonathan Wittekind, age 20, 218 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Wittekind was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 4:33 am.

Kevin Duwayne Detamore, age 40, 6 Golden Pond Lane, Buckhannon, WV, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and for misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under a suspended license. Detamore was arrested near milepost ten on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 6:11 pm.

Joseph Lee Camden Jr., age 50, 833 Second Street Lot 3, Marietta, for felonious assault. Camden was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 Jul 10 at 10:25 pm.
