On 2 Jul 10 the owner of Devola Mini Storage, 103 Deerwalk Circle, Marietta, reported he noticed that morning that several storage units did not have locks on them. Speaking to the renters of the units, Deputy Anderson determined a toolbox, hand tools, car speakers, a box of Christmas animals were stolen from one of the four units missing locks. This case remains under investigation.

On 2 Jul 10 Charity D. Bailey, age 22, 518 Fifth Street, Lowell, reported a dispute with her live-in boyfriend Keith A. Huff, age 26, began the previous afternoon. Ms. Bailey commented that Mr. Huff harassed and yelled at her throughout the incident, threw her to the ground on two occasions and also pushed her over a coffee table. Questioned about his actions, Mr. Huff acknowledged shoving Ms. Bailey over a coffee table but he claimed he only did so because she was hitting him. Based on her investigation, Deputy Sheriff Deem arrested Mr. Huff for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brian Corey Ahlquist, age 45, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. Ahlquist was arrested on Pike Street by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 10 at 12:14 am.

Stephanie E. Rector, age 26, 27400 State Route 7, Marietta, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Rector turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 10 at 10:56 am.

Lawrence Matthew Garner, age 28, Marietta, for tampering with evidence, for illegally cultivating/manufacturing drugs, for two counts of possession of drugs and for three counts of trafficking in drugs, all felonies. Garner was picked up at the South Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 10 at 12:46 pm.

Keith Allen Huff, age 26, 304 Fifth Street, Lowell, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Huff was arrested at the Fourth Street office by Deputy Sheriff Deem and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Jul 10 at 5:47 pm.
