On 19 Jun 10 Joshua R. Dunn, age 25, 311 Walnut Lane, Belpre, reported he was assaulted by his live-in girlfriend Keshia R. Tillis, age 23. Mr. Dunn stated his girlfriend fish-hooked his mouth while the two were in the bedroom and later she punched him several times in the head. Ms. Tillis left the residence but later returned and broke the screen and window of the residence as she tried to gain entry through the locked door. As Mr. Dunn phoned for help, Ms. Tillis continued her tirade and swung a broken piece of glass at her boyfriend through the shattered area of the door. Based on Mr. Dunn’s statements and evidence viewed at the scene, Deputy Sheriff Carr arrested Ms. Tillis for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 19 Jun 10 Stoney P. Irvine, age 38, 3898 Watertown Road, Waterford, was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital after being found unresponsive by a friend. Intoxicated after consuming six beers and nearly a dozen shots of vodka, Mr. Irvine reportedly took a handful of his prescription medication. Transported by Beverly-Waterford EMS, Mr. Irvine is in the ICU in stable condition (610).

On 19 Jun 10 Sgt. Hornbeck and Deputy Sheriff Deem responded to a disturbance at 1880 Braun Road, Belpre. A female visitor at the home, who appeared intoxicated when the Deputies arrived, stated she did not wish to pursue any charges; she just needed her vehicle taken off a car jack. The woman stated one of the home’s residents, Jamey Striblin, age 24, put her car up on the jack because she was drinking. She also stated Mr. Striblin had marijuana plants and prescription pills inside the home. Granted permission to search the homeowner, Jeremy Stone, age 29, the Deputies observed two marijuana bongs on a table. A further search of the home resulted in the discovery of three small marijuana plants in a planting pot in a shower. Mr. Stone conceded that the two marijuana bongs were his but said that the plants must belong to Mr. Striblin. When questioned, Mr. Striblin admitted the plants belonged to him. Based on their investigation, Deputy Deem requested summonses for Mr. Stone for possession of drug paraphernalia and for Mr. Striblin for cultivation of marijuana.
