On 11 Jun 10 Deputy Sheriff Mayle issued a citation to Keith A. Drake, age 23, 833 Ridge Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Mayle stopped Mr. Drake on Stanleyville Road near Hartline Road in Fearing Township.

On 11 Jun 10 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a minor misdemeanor citation to Jakeb M. Bailey, age 19, 4747 Federal Road, Coolville, for cultivation of marijuana. Probation officers visited Mr. Bailey’s residence that afternoon for a routine check and observed what appeared to be four small marijuana plants in a planter on the deck behind the residence. While speaking to the probation officers, Mr. Bailey uprooted the plants and threw them off the deck. Deputy Smeeks later discovered the plants and positively identified the plants as marijuana. Questioned about the plants, Mr. Bailey stated he had never grown marijuana but wanted to see if he could.

On 11 Jun 10 Deputy Sheriff Lockhart arrested Eric M. Pritts, age 24, 2120 New Villa Way, Knoxville, TN, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Witnesses at 9516 Veto Road, Belpre, reported Mr. Pritts shoved his girlfriend and threw the keys to his vehicle into the woods. When Lt. Stackpole and Deputy Lockhart arrived at the residence they noticed Mr. Pritts was unsteady on his feet and his speech was slurred. When transported to the Washington County Jail Mr. Pritts tested .077 BAC.

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Tara E. Burdette, age 30, 131 Clark Street, Marietta, for failing to appear to serve three days of a ninety day jail sentence on 6 Jun 10.

Shalanda Curtis, age 27, 103 Muskingum Drive, Marietta, for failing to appear for a debtor’s exam.

David A. Sayres, age 45, 413 Eighth Street, Parkersburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 28 May 10.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jakeb Michael Bailey, age 19, 4746 Federal Road, Coolville, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Bailey was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Thorpe of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jun 10 at 5:20 pm.

Coree Gene Johnson, age 18, 4746 Federal Road, Coolville, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested at his residence by Probation Officer Hinkle and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jun 10 at 5:42 pm.

Alexandra J. Robertson, age 22, 601 Barclay Street Lot 4, Belpre, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Robertson was arrested on Main Street by Patrolman Hunter of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jun 10 at 9:31 pm.

Eric Michael Pritts, age 24, 2120 New Villa Way, Knoxville, TN, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Pritts was arrested at a residence on Veto Road by Deputy Sheriff Lockhart and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jun 10 at 10:14 pm.

Devonne Curtis, age 50, 735 Eighth Street, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Curtis was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Jun 10 at 11:14 pm.
