On 9 Jun 10 a fifty-two year old Whipple resident reported her seventeen year old son grabbed her by the throat, dragged her into their living room and made comments about killing her. The teenager’s mother stated her son was upset after she answered a phone call from a Beverly Police Department officer regarding and incident involving her son the previous evening. Subsequent to the phone call the teenager ordered his mother to follow his commands and she would not get hurt. The juvenile’s mother said her son then ordered her to drive him to several businesses in Marietta. She finally escaped when her son left her alone and she used a spare set of keys to flee in the vehicle. Based on his investigation, Deputy Sheriff Carr filed charges against the juvenile for delinquency by abduction and domestic violence. The juvenile was later arrested by Sgt.
