Archive of 05-22-10

On 22 May 10 Christopher S. Miller, age 39, 50 Flint Run Road, Waterford, reported when he arrived home from work his father Francis, age 66, confronted him about being late on his rent and for allegedly not having farm equipment ready to start work. Later, Mr. Miller stated he was working on a hay baler when his father threw a tractor part at him and hit him in the shin. As he then attempted to walk out of the barn, Mr. Miller said his father tackled him from behind and punched him in the ribs. Mr. Miller gained control of his father following a brief wrestling match and left the area to phone law enforcement. After receiving stitches for a gash he unknowingly suffered during the altercation, the elder Miller was arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Washington County Jail (608, 610).

On 22 May 10 Deputy Sheriff Deem issued a citation to Willie B. Ross, age 62, 611 Lulu Street, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license and for failing to stop at a red light. Deputy Deem stopped Mr. Ross after he failed to stop at the intersection of State Route 7 and Braun Road in Belpre.

On 22 May 10 a passerby reported finding a paper bag containing trash near the intersection Francis Road and Huck Road in Marietta. Located by Deputy Sheriff Carr, the owner of the trash stated her car is full of trash and that the bag must have blown out the window.

On 22 May 10 Danny J. Delong, age 63, 28 Briarbey Lane, Fleming, reported he was involved in a verbal confrontation with his wife Deanna, age 55, that escalated into a minor altercation. Mr. Delong stated his wife has anger issues and shoved and punched him in the stomach while the two were in a barn on their property. Mr. Delong also said when he turned his back to his wife she pushed a ladder that fell over and struck him in the back and shoulder. Viewing and injury on Mr. Delong that appeared to be caused by the ladder, Deputy Sheriff Anderson arrested Mrs. Delong for domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Brandon Michael Schmidt, age 20, 416 Mulberry Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for breach of recognizance, all misdemeanors. Schmidt was arrested on Second Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 2:00 am.

Gary Lee Jackson Jr., age 28, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Jackson was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 4:05 am.

Ronald Ray Bailey, age 46, 735 Eighth Street Apt. 1, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Bailey was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 6:13 am.

Robert Joseph Seagraves, age 29, 623 York Street, Springfield, OH, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer and for obstructing official business, both felonies. Seagraves was arrested on State Route 821 Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 9:43 am.

Natalie Sue Weckbacher, age 27, 29950 State Route 7, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Weckbacher was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Deem and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 3:30 pm.

Francis Eugene Miller, age 66, 86 Flint Run Road, Waterford, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hornbeck of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 7:00 pm.

Susan Lynn Wells, age 43, 305 W. Second Street, Williamstown, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Wells was arrested on Seventh Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 8:29 pm.

Deanna Lynn Delong, age 55, 28, Briarbey Lane, Fleming, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Delong was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Anderson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 9:12 pm.

Judi Annette Burge, age 44, 137 Warren Street, Marietta, for burglary, a felony. Burge was arrested on Harmar Street by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 10:20 pm.

Michael Dean Offenberger, age 20, 107 Pennsylvania Avenue, Marietta, for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor. Offenberger was arrested on Fourth Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 11:45 pm.

Alison Blake Seevers, age 22, 2950 Righteous Ridge Road, Waterford, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for possession of drugs, both misdemeanors. Seevers was arrested in Beverly by Sgt. Mankins of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 May 10 at 4:00 am.

Tyler Stephen Mixer, age 20, 5207 Cow Creek Road, Saint Marys, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Mixer was arrested on Spring Street by Patrolman Thomas of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 May 10 at 4:51 am.
