On 4 May 10 an employee of Marietta Transfer
Company, 11561 State Route 60, Lowell, reported sometime overnight
an unknown suspect cut a hole in a rear door to enter the business.
Once inside, the suspect(s) cut and stole cords to power tools
and also stole 150 feet of welding lead, a MIG welder gun, two
100 foot extension cords and 100 feet of trailer wire. This
case remains under investigation (608).
On 4 May 10 Robert M. McKitrick, age 55, 550
Ewing Road, Reno, reported he noticed that morning what appeared
to be pry marks on a door to his residence. Taking inventory
of items in his residence, Mr. McKitrick determined a bottle
containing twelve Vicodin pills and a bottle containing fifty-two
Percocet pills were missing. Mr. McKitrick believes the unknown
suspect(s) entered his home between 6 pm and 10 pm the previous
evening. This case remains under investigation (790).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joseph Benjamin Mayle, age 26, 201 State Street,
Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Mayle was arrested
on Putnam Street by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May
10 at 11:05 am.
Deane Allen Beck Jr., age 30, 1008 30th Street,
Parkersburg, for rape, a felony. Beck was picked up at the Ross
Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 10 at 1:35 pm.
Dewaine William Mayle, age 22, 201 State Street,
Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Mayle was arrested on
Alderman Street by Patrolman Warden of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
4 May 10 at 3:48 pm.
Scott Christopher Garber, age 37, Seventh Street,
Parkersburg, for domestic violence and for violating the terms
of his probation, both misdemeanors. Garber was arrested in
Belpre by Patrolman Hunter of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 10 at
Kenneth Ray Rogers, age 22, 801 ½ Front
Street, Marietta, for a felony charge of failure to appear and
for misdemeanor charges of being in possession of an open container
of alcohol and disorderly conduct. Rogers was arrested at the
Marietta City Police Department by Patrolman Arbaugh and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 4 May 10 at 5:34 pm.
