On 28 Apr 10 Deputy Sheriff Anderson requested a summons for Frankie D. Sergent, age 32, 85 Lane Road, Vincent, for theft. A clerk at White Oak Pharmacy reported on 6 Apr that he viewed security footage showing Ms. Sergent placing items in her purse on 1 Apr 10. The clerk then discovered empty packages of Squirmel toys on a shelf. Questioned regarding the incident, Ms. Sergent could not provide a plausible explanation for her actions on the surveillance tape.

On 28 Apr 10 Robert Kirk, age 45, 318 Everson Road, Belpre, reported when he arrived at property he owns at 110 Cross Road, Belpre, he observed the driver of a pickup truck driving off with his Yardman riding mower in the truck’s bed. Inspecting the vacant house trailer and garage on the property, Mr. Kirk determined a 3.8 liter General Motors engine and a kitchen mixer were stolen along with the mower. The estimated cost of the stolen items is over $2,300. This case remains under investigation (610).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Scott C. Garber, age 37, 2500 23rd Street, Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by being charged with domestic violence on 20 Apr 10.

Tina M. Sims, age 46, 11870 Veto Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation by being charged with theft on 20 Apr 10.

Fred E. Stalder, age 47, 5 S. Plains Road, The Plains, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear for arraignment on 26 Apr 10.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Robert F. Gunderman III, age 46, 100 Greene Street, Newport, for littering, a misdemeanor. Gunderman was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 10 at 8:50 pm.

Thomas Paul Daugherty, age 30, 302 Maple Street, Marietta, for failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender, a felony. Daugherty was arrested at his residence by Detective Hawkins of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 10 at 9:20 pm.

Timothy Lee Rogers, age 31, 2346 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to appear, a felony. Rogers was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Carr and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 10 at 10:45 pm.

Eric Michael Michaud, age 18, 300 Holly Street, Marietta, for being a military deserter. Michaud was arrested near milepost seven on State Route 60 by Detective Staats of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28 Apr 10 at 11:55 pm.
