On 24 Apr 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes arrested Fred E. Stalder, age 47, 5 S. Plains Road, The Plains, for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for operating a vehicle with an expired registration. Stopping Mr. Stalder on US 50 near State Route 555 for weaving out of his lane of travel, Deputy Rhodes detected an odor of alcohol and notice Mr. Stalder had glassy, bloodshot eyes. Though he admitted consuming only three beers, Mr. Stalder performed poorly on field sobriety tests. When transported to the Washington County Jail, Mr. Stalder refused to submit to a BAC test.

On 24 Apr 10 Douglas J. Little, age 49, 4186 Hebron Road, Saint Marys, was transported by the Marietta Fire Department to Marietta Memorial Hospital following an accident at RJF. Mr. Little suffered swelling, bruising and possibly broke bones in his hand and arm while operating a compactor at the factory (610).

On 24 Apr 10 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes requested a summons for Hailey D. Mayle, age 18, 1002 Carriage Hill Drive, Athens, for operating a vehicle with fictitious registration. Stopped while driving a Ford Mustang northbound on State Route 555 in Wesley Township, Ms. Mayle admitted a month ago she placed a family member’s license plate for a Dodge truck on her vehicle so she could drive it.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Fred Elvis Stalder, age 47, 5 S. Plains Road, The Plains, for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for operating a vehicle with an expired registration, all misdemeanors. Stalder was arrested on US 50 near State Route 555 by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Apr 10 at 4:13 am.

Jesse Ryan Jadwin, age 21, 745 Dodd Run Road, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Jadwin was arrested at Speedway on Seventh Street by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Apr 10 at 9:18 pm.
